Last year was the inaugural year for the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.

After a rough financial year, the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra (the successor to the bankrupt Honolulu Symphony Orchestra) is apparently on the road to financial security.  Using a combination of a reduced schedule, better publicity, and an agressive membership campaign, the Symphony hopes to attain financial stability.  The concert season begins in October.  Aloha, Russ.
