Hawaii energy company gets $5M federal grant
LIHUE, Hawaii — A Hawaii energy company owned by three of the state’s largest landowners has been awarded a $5 million federal grant to develop systems to produce and process biofuels.
Kauai is joining Maui and Hawaii Island in the production of biofuels. Another step in the right direction for weaning us off fossil fuels and the Middle East oil quagmire we find ourselves in this decade. Aloha, Russ.
