The U.S. Geological Survery says that there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii following a 3.5 magnitude earthquake in waters near Waimanalo and Makapu’u on Oahu. (BREAKING: No tsunami threat to Hawaii after 3.5 magnitude earthquake off Waimanalo.

  1. Sure, the earthquake happens AFTER I leave the island. It’s one natural disaster I have yet to experience….maybe next time.

    1. You’re not missing anything. You should have been around when a large earth temblor shook Hawaii Island a few years ago (2005). The state is still repairing bridges damaged by that quake. Russ.
