Maui Mayor urges residents to prepare for Flossie
Hawaii News Now
Aloha, this is Mayor Alan Arakawa. The National Weather Service has issued a Tropical Storm Warning for Tropical Storm Flossie as of 11 p.m.

Russell Roberts‘s insight:

A timely warning from Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa.  Apparently, Maui and Hawaii Island will bear most of the impact of Tropical Storm Flossie.  Be prepared for some heavy rain, flooding, high surf, and gusty winds on Hawaii Island’s East side.  Aloha, Russ.
