Scientific Authorities Sign the TMT Master Agreement | SpaceRef – Your Space Reference

According to reporter Tom Callis, the scientific institutions supporting teh Thirty Meter Telescope have signed a master agreement for the $1.3 billion observatory scheduled to be built on Mauna Kea, beginning in 2014.  The agreement establishes project goals, defines members rights and obligations,a nd creates a governance structure for the project.  Aloha, Russ.
