Former Inouye aide joins Hanabusa campaign

HONOLULU (AP) – The late U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye’s former deputy chief of staff has joined U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa’s senate campaign.
Peter Boylan, the former deputy chief of staff for the late Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye, has joined the senatorial campaign of Coleen Hanabusa. Hanabusa will face Hawaii Senator Brian Schatz in the Democratic Primary next year. Governor Neil Abercrombie appointed Schatz to replace Inouye. Inouye’s dying wish was to have Hanabusa succeed him.
