Hawaii general fund tax revenues up 10%
Hawaii News Now
HONOLULU (AP) – Hawaii tax revenues deposited in the general fund rose nearly 10% during the most recent fiscal year to $5.5 billion.
Russell Roberts‘s insight:
A sign that Hawaii’s economy is recovering a bit. Increased visitor numbers and more money from the transit accommodations tax helped a bit more. The report shows personal income in the state of Hawaii has increased a small amount. State tax collections have inched up a bit as well. Aloha, Russ.
