Hawaii considers regulating water jet packs
People use the packs, which involve relatively new technology and are just beginning to appear in Hawaii and other states, to lift themselves up to 30 feet in the air at speeds up to 32 mph.
This is probably a good idea. Sometimes, you have to protect others from themselves. You don’t need a water jet pack to feel excited–try the morning commute on Highway 130 between Pahoa and Hilo. Now there’s an accident waiting to happen. Aloha, Russ.
