Working at a standing or sit-stand desk can keep core and back muscles engaged and improve posture.
Russell Roberts‘s insight:
This is not a new idea. Those of us from the broadcast industry often used what was called a "standup board" to run our shows. Vocal projection and alertness were better when the announcer ran his program standing up. Sitting too long behind a desk is detrimental to your physical health…stand up and walk around every hour or so to keep your muscles firm and your brain awake. Aloha, Russ.
