A chilling answer to why a 10-year-old girl was denied a lung transplant by federal authorities.  The rationale supplied by government health officials is chilling and brings to mind the oft-debated issue of "death panels" for the critically ill.  Pundits dismissed conservative Republicans who claimed that health panels and not a person’s doctor would decide your ultimate fate.  Now, politicians from both sides of the isle say old-guard Republican conservatives may have had a point.  Be careful what you wish for.  Think about this the next time you vote.  You could be the one denied medical treatment in the future.  A very sobering thought.  Stay healthy.  Aloha, Russ.
