Banking on Hawaiian
The ongoing revival of the Hawaiian language is reaching into new territory—banking. Well, not exactly new, as business was commonly conducted in Hawaiian as recently as the early 20th Century.
The Hawaiian language is returning to banking, courtesy of Bank of Hawaii which has enabled its ATMs and other financial services to be conducted in the Hawaiian language. Interesting move from a marketing standpoint. Aloha, Russ.
