Another on the veto list would provide for a nonpartisan primary as well as a general election for Office of Hawaiian Affairs board members.

So much for election reform.  What this state needs is an open primary.  The purpose of the open primary would be to encourage more people to run for office.  Perhaps voter turnout would increase if people had more choices.  Aloha, Russ.
