AAA Hawaii: Gas prices mostly down
Local gas prices mostly declined in the surveyed areas compared to last week, according to the AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch.

Russell Roberts‘s insight:

This is just a temporary respite from gradually increasing prices for all types of fuel.  The days of cheap gasoline are over.  Alternative fuels will be introduced gradually as they become more price competitive with gasoline.  It could be worse–just check the price of gasoline in Japan or Europe.  We’re lucky to still fuel up at $4.35 a gallon in Hilo.  Count your blessings.  Aloha, Russ.
