No surprise here. We’ve been paying the "Paradise Tax" for years. With nearly everything we need being imported from Asia and the U. S. mainland, it’s no wonder we find it so hard to break even. At least the weather in Hawaii is better than that of New York City and Washington, D.C. That alone may be worth the price we pay to live here. Aloha, Russ.
