Russell Roberts‘s insight:

Good luck to Dr. Peggy Latare.  Obesity is one of Hawaii’s biggest health problems.  Most of us, myself included, don’t eat as well as we should.  My wife and I have been slowly getting away from meat, fat, and fast foods.  We have been exercising for many years.  The combination of reduced food intake and more exercise has helped us maintain our weight and stay out of the hospital.  We said "goodbye" to the plate lunch years ago…now, it’s more fruit, veggies, and water.  Remember when you could eat all you wanted and never put on weight?  As I approach the "sunset years", that routine can prove deadly.  Stay active, eat sensibly, and stay alive.  Aloha, Russ.
