New sheriff begins work in Hawaii

HONOLULU (AP) – A new sheriff is starting in Hawaii after 27 years as a deputy in the state. The Public Safety Department says Robin Nagamine will take charge of the sheriff’s division on Monday.
Public Safety Director Ted Sakai says Nagmine will bring "sound leadership to make sure it operates professionally." Aloha, Russ.
