Driving in Hawaii is becoming more dangerous. Whether you drive on Hawaii Island or on the traffic chocked roads of Honolulu, driving is becoming less enjoyable.  Take our Highway 130 between Keaau and Pahoa, for example. What a mess at rush hour.  That road is an accident waiting to happen.  Of course, progress on improving that road is being made.  But that process is unnervingly slow.  Meanwhile, you take your life in  your hands everytime you get into your vehicle.  When I travel to Oahu to visit family, I rarely rent a car–it’s safer to use The Bus.  Aloha, Russ.
