Recalled frozen berries sold in Hawaii may be linked to Hepatitis A
KHON2
The Hepatitis A outbreak linked to frozen berries from Costco has possibly spread to Hawaii.
The defective product has been identified as "Townsend Farms Anti-Oxidant Blend", sold at Costco stores in Hawaii. The merchadise was pulled from local shelves on Wednesday. So far, two people have been infected with Hepatitis A–a contagious liver disease. One victim lives on Oahu and the other resides on Kauai. Thirty people in 5 mainland states have been infected with Hepatitis A. Check your freezers to make sure you didn’t buy this infected product. Aloha, Russ.
