KOHALA COAST — A pair of triathletes dominated the men’s and women’s races at Ironman 70.3 Hawaii on Saturday.
Except for a bad turn by Kailua-Kona’s Bree Wee, the race was superb! Wee told reporter Micah Lewter that people along the route "told me to turn left, and I did..then I got down to male 12, and someone said, ‘your’re fourth behind Damon Barnett.’ and I knew that wasn’t right." Australia’s Craig Alexander rolled to an impressive win. Belinda Granger won the women’s division.
