Hawaii on pace to set new tourism records

For the first four months of 2013, Hawaii has welcomed an average of 23,300 a day, a 6.1% increase over the same period last year, according to the Hawaii Tourism Authority.

Let’s hope the trend continues. Too bad that much of our state’s revenues depend on visitor traffic. "Putting all of your eggs in one basket" is high risk fiscal behavior. Aloha, Russ.
