The Office of Hawaiian Affairs announced on Friday $8 million in grants to more than 30 local nonprofits that seek to help Native Hawaiians.
Russell Roberts‘s insight:
Informative article by Jenna Blakely of "Pacific Business News." Blakely says around 6,200 Native Hawaiians will be helped in such areas as health, education, housing stability, land preservation, raising family income, preserving culture, and improving pre-natal care. Some of those funds will go to the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea and to Family Support Services of West Hawaii. Aloha, Russ.
